To be born female
is to be made crazy.
You soon learn that your purpose
is to let a man inject you with seed
so that you will incubate babies.
You will be given dolls
to practice with.

to explain it all.

You will look at your body
and see the slit where the

and the teats to feed the child.
You will examine your body
for evidence of any other purpose,

is to be given such an emptiness
such a loneliness
and then to be told
that only a man
and only a child
can fill that emptiness.

And for a while
you will accept that.
